Health of our Hair and Scalp

Leonor Greyl -Huile Secret de Beaute is natural oil for use on both hair and your body

The health of our hair and scalp are a direct reflection of what’s going on inside of our bodies. Our eating habits, health and nutrition affect our hair. Whatever is going on inside our bodies is seen on the outside.

If you want healthy, beautiful and shiny hair you must take care of your scalp the same way you would take care of your skin.

Here are some tips to prevent dry/damaged hair:

The most important thing is to not wash your hair with very hot water. Also, never wring your hair out, pat it gently with a towel and do not completely dry it. Try not to wash your hair more than 3 times a week, the more you wash it, the drier and more damaged it becomes. Whether you are at home or at the salon, never blow dry your hair on the highest level of heat.

Products we recommend to keep your hair and scalp healthy:

1.)Start with a few drops of Leonor Greyl Regenerescence Naturelle scalp vitalizing oil on the hairline to stimulate blood circulation. Divide hair into 4 sections and apply Lotion p50 Capillare on the scalp and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Apply Huile de Leonor Greyl to the ends of your hair and leave that on for up to 25 minutes.

2.)Shampoo your hair with one of our amazing hair products that best suits your hair type:

If you’ve ever noticed women on the street who seem to have particularly perky skin and an almost celestial glow, chances are they’ve discovered the “remodeling’’ facials developed by Parisian company Biologique Recherche. The combination of active products with electrical current, which tones muscles in the face and helps those products to penetrate, takes years off and imparts a healthy radiance. Below are five top estheticians, each of whom has customized the remodeling treatment to make it her own, along with Christine Chin, the go-to facialist for cleansing and ridding skin of imperfections.

Rough Skin Treatment!

January 23, 2018

When a Glossier team member emailed me in December asking if I’d like to try the brand’s first and forthcoming exfoliating skincare product, Solution, I tripped over my fingers to type yes. In hindsight, my enthusiasm is a bit mystifying, as I wasn’t in need of a new exfoliator, nor did I have any particular brand loyalty to Glossier (I only owned one product, a blush). Turns out I am not immune to the brand’s captivating, wet-looking subway ads, at which I’ve probably stared long enough to consider myself an expert. Still, introducing an unreleased product into a skincare routine that was giving me great results after a year of skin troubles seemed a potentially unwise pursuit. What could Solution offer me if I had nothing I was looking to “fix”? I settled for the obvious, most enticing answer: subway ad-levels of SHINE.
